Meet the hippies!
Emily Watson is the proud founder of Healthy Happy Hippie. As a certified yoga and medical Qi Gong instructor, Emily is constantly seeking new ways to expand her awareness and nourish her soul in the healthiest most natural ways possible. She has a bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature and has been writing – creatively and otherwise – for ten years. Off the mat and away from the keyboard, Emily can be found hiking, camping and traveling with her wife and fur babies. She currently lives and works for a publishing company in Peterborough, Ontario.
Amber is a freelance writer from Toronto, Ontario. Her passion for holistic living has opened up many doors, allowing her to contribute to various online and print publications on topics including mindfulness and meditation, homeopathic health and vegetarian nutrition. In her free time she loiters at cafes and yoga studios throughout the city and occasionally ventures to the east coast to visit family and eat mass amounts of lobster.
Lindsay and her husband Tom are converted plant-powered parents. They have two daughters — Piper who is two and Quinn who is eight months. Their journey started in June of 2017 when Lindsay was pregnant with their second daughter. They quit meat and all animal products cold turkey. After eating the same boring salad for every meal, she and Tom quickly realized they needed to liven it up and make food fun again. Today, Lindsay is passionate about the healing power of plants, and loves sharing recipes to encourage other families to embrace a healthy lifestyle.
